Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls on LinkedIn?
Last month, I decided to spice up my love life by turning every social network into a potential Tinder. I mean, why stick to just one app when you can have an entire buffet of options, right? 🤔
So, I started with Twitter. I figured, people post their innermost thoughts and feelings on there, so what better place to find someone who shares my interests? I started scrolling through my feed, looking for any potential matches. No one seemed interested in anything beyond sharing memes and hot takes 🤦♂️
But then, I stumbled upon a tweet that caught my eye. It was a witty observation about romance and what it means to have a true romantic connection, and I knew I had to shoot my shot. I replied with a playful joke of my own, and to my surprise, she responded! We started chatting back and forth, but she was too closed off to share feelings, stories, and thoughts, so I was not able to stablish a true connection 😔
Feeling emboldened, I decided to take things up a notch and try my luck on LinkedIn. I mean, who says professional networking can't lead to a little romance, right? That day a very cute medicine student send me a connection request, I usually do not accept request from strangers, but after reading her profile, I felt delighted and eager to meet her 🤗
I sent her a message, complimenting her goals, talking about life, and challenges. To my surprise, she actually is a nice match! Let's wait what happens next and if there is any sort of chemistry in the near future 🥰
Now, I know what you're thinking, this all sounds a little crazy. But with a little creativity and enough desire, any social network can be a Tinder. Who knows where my newfound love connections will take me, but one thing's for sure - I'm never going to limit myself to just one app again 😍
