DEVLog - June
June DevLog: Scan Documents API, SDK and MCP, IMG Processing OpenAPI Spec, SignatureAPI. Coding, development, and project updates

Hey, hey everyone!
June is almost over. Incredible that we already have reached the middle of the year! This month have been great, and most of the projects have consolidated on solid solutions leaving me more time to rest and plan new future projects.
Let's review what I've been working during this month.
Scan Documents
Last month I soft-released the API for Scan Documents. A platform to automatize some document processing and digitization tasks.
In June I fixed some bugs and completed some tasks and now, the API is finally public and available for everyone!

With the new release, now is documented a way to integrate the API to existing tools, using no-code tools like Zapier, and enable AI agents to use the API.
The main work of this month was centrilized on creating the Zapier integration for the platform, adding some cool features like Scan, Merge, Render, and Convert documents.

The integration is completed, and now is in semi-private beta, where you can use it via invitation available on the Zapier Integration Docs.
On the application side, I added support to export to other formats like JPEG and WebP. A frequent request I have received las month.

So, that's it. If you are interested on the App, API, MCPn o Zapier Integration, checkout them here.
IMG Processing
Moving on to IMG Processing, my API for processing image-related. This month I did a lot of hidden work to enhance the document processing operations.
The main problem the API had, was the hard limit for image sizes of 2048x2048px that limited the scope of the API. However, after the changes of this month, I was able to increase that limit to 10,000x10,000px which greatly improves the use cases for the API.
On the other hand, the OpenAPI spec I created last month helped me to automatize the creation of the SDK with stainless, releasing the second version of the SDK.

This release also includes a new MCP that will help agents to execute tasks like image resize, or background removal.
Finnaly, I also added some new AI models to the analysis endpoints to understand images with highest accuracy.
If you want to checkout the API, see it below.

SignatureAPI
SignatureAPI it the digital signature platform and the startup I'm currently working on.
This month has been focused on some minor features for authentication and architectural enhancements where we have been trying to move some services out of our main codebase to a lambda to forget about them and leave them running without affecting our main task that is provide electronic signatures.
Privacy Policy Review
This is a project that have been staled for a while, until I resolve the problems with the register iwantmyname.
My account got locked, and their support has been, let's just say, not very responsive. I tryed to reach to them week after week, and yesterday I finally got my account unlocked just to discover that my domain was on hold...
Any way, I will keep fighting for this. I expect early this month it will finally resolved! This has been a drama, and I've used a lot of channels to reach the point I am, so we are almost done, and my new project will see the light (and probably I'll transfer my domain to another register).
Update: Just a few minutes after publishing this, everything was solved and I recovered my domain.
What's Next?
Alright, looking ahead to July, here's what I'm hoping to tackle:
- Scan Documents:
- Marketing: With more API features in place, and the new Zapier integration, I think I'm ready to launch on platforms like Product Hunt.
- N8N: I'm not commiting to this, but perhaps I start the integration with n8n.
- IMG Processing:
- Integrations: Now I have some experience with Zapier, probably I will create a integration for IMG Processing.
- New projects:
- I plan to develop new small projects, one probably will become a new side project, but I cannot give you details at the moment since I don't understand the scope.
Let's see how it goes.
Let's Build
Now we saw what I did and what I want to do, it's your turn. What will you do this month?
Thanks, as always, for reading along and for your interest in these projects. Your feedback and encouragement really do mean a lot. Feel free to check out the links, try things out, and let me know your thoughts.
Let's build together, and see you on the next update!
